Hi, I’m Yevette Gooden and the purpose of this blog is to minister to the beliver in Christ who is not totally committed to Christ, however, feels compelled to a closer walk.  This blog will enlighten, encourage and compel those who read it to a closer relationship with Christ.

I began the blog “In The Mean Time…” in 2006 in an effort to bring awareness to the lack of information for the African American Christian who just happens to be unmarried.  This new project takes that desire to the next level by bringing awareness to the lack of meaningful relationships we have with our Creator.
